Why should I hire Paul Padda Law?
Hiring a lawyer is a very personal decision. One size does not fit all. You have to believe that the attorney you retain will fight hard for your interests and will not view you as “just another client.” In selecting an attorney, you should focus on the attorney’s personality (does this person make me feel comfortable?), the attorney’s professional experience (does this person know their way around the courtroom?) and the attorney’s educational background. There are undoubtedly many good lawyers you can hire for your legal situation. We hope this website will provide you with some valuable insight into the type of law firm we are and will help you determine if we might be the right lawyers for your particular situation. At Paul Padda Law, we are passionately committed to our clients and believe our primary responsibility is to always put your best interests first. If upon reviewing this website you would like to meet for a consultation, we encourage you to call us at (702) 366-1888 and make an appointment. If I call you, will your firm charge me?
Not necessarily. Some consultations are free. Everything you tell us over the telephone or in person is confidential even if you never hire us.
How much do you charge?
It depends on your particular legal situation. In personal injury cases we do not charge you any legal fees unless we recover money on your behalf. This is called a contingency arrangement. We generally handle employment matters under the same arrangement. Criminal and immigration matters are handled on a flat-fee basis. In other words, you pay us a fixed amount for handling your case. Business litigation cases, and those involving patents and trademarks, generally require a fixed retainer and can either be billed on an hourly basis or based upon a blended contingency basis; it all depends on the particular facts relating to your situation.
I don’t live in Nevada but I found your website and I’m impressed with your background. Can you still represent me?
Yes. Depending on your situation, we can either directly represent you ourselves or partner with another law firm in your area to provide you with excellent representation. As trial lawyers, we have extensive contacts across the country with some of this nation’s best lawyers. Paul Padda is active in various bars and legal organizations. We are currently handling cases for clients in California and other states.
If I hire Paul Padda Law, what’s the next step?
With every case, we have a game plan and a strategic plan of action. When you become a client of Paul Padda Law, we consider you a “part of the team” and we value your input; after all, it’s your legal rights on the line. Following an initial meeting and consultation, we will put into motion gathering the appropriate records or documents (where appropriate) and taking all necessary steps to begin the process of protecting and vigorously pursuing your legal rights. If filing a lawsuit is appropriate, then that is precisely what we will do. As a client of our firm, you have a right to remain fully informed throughout your case.

If I’m an accident victim, should I negotiate with an insurance adjuster?
Insurance adjusters are good people that have a job to do. However, you should recognize that the insurance adjuster is neither on your side or your “friend.” Their primary duty is to the insurance company. Insurance adjusters are skilled negotiators that receive in-depth legal training. You need a lawyer on your side who can deal effectively and persuasively with an insurance adjuster. Handling your own case can be like cutting your own hair. You may think you’re saving money, but you might not end up liking the result.
